McLaren introduced the new MP4-13 today at the team's homebase in Woking. As at last year's presentation the car was painted in orange. The livery in which the team's founder Bruce McLaren drove his own cars in the sixties will be replaced by a new colour design before the start of the season however.

Yesterday not many teams dared to go out on to the track during testing at Barcelona. The rain kept most teams in the pits as nobody was prepared to risk the new cars.
The Prost team rounded of a testsession at magny Cours today. The French outfit concentrated its testwork on the gearbox and the new tyres during the past few days. In the meantime Ferrari driver Eddie Irvine got his first chance to taste the new F300 at Mugello. The Irish driver said to be satisfied afterwards especially after the problems which played up earlier appeared to be solved now.
