Max named Driver of the Day in Baku

Max Verstappen secured a strong second place at the Baku Street Circuit in Azerbaijan after starting the race from eighth on the grid. The RB22's race pace proved excellent, with both Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers delivering flawless performances. Only George Russell’s Mercedes was marginally faster: at the finish, the Briton crossed the line less than two tenths of a second ahead of Max. Isack Hadjar claimed an impressive third place.

The Dutchman’s fine performance in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix was recognised by the fans, with Max Verstappen being named ‘Driver of the Day’ for the sixth time this year.
