Some of the latest rumours: Tom Walkinshaw has already signed a new driver for next year. It is Australian Craig Loundes. Jos Verstappen directly went to Italy to do 'some business' after the race at the Nurburgring. Would that be some business with a certain Flavio B.?

Jos always had a very good relationship with Nick Wirth, former teamowner of Simtek. Nick is now first mechanic for Berger at Benetton. Since Ross Brawn, technical director at Benetton, most probably goes to Ferrari Nick could well take his place. The other Benetton rumour is that Berger is about to leave the team and retire.

Brian Hart, engine builder for Arrows, isn't getting any more money since Tom Walkinshaw has taken over the team. The small firm has just enough budget to survive. Tom Walkinshaw is placing his bets on a deal with another engine supplier, probably Mugen-Honda, for next season.
