Quadruple World Champion on the 500 cc motorcycle, Australian Michael Doohan, has switched his Honda motorcycle for one day for a Williams F1 car. In his first lap on the circuit of Barcelona he spinned the car and ended along the track. A short while later he continued and eventually set a best time of 1:41. Luckily enough not so fast as the best F1 times from around 1:21. Finish rallye champion Tommi Makinen has tried the F1 car too but also spinned. Jacques Villeneuve could try the Honda of Michael Doohan but declined so he wouldn't endanger his World Title chances with a possible fall.
