The four day Benetton Playlife test session that was staged this week on the circuit was concluded today. Jos Verstappen as well as Giancarlo Fisichella have driven today. Jos did 59 laps today and Fisichella did about the same amount of laps. The best times of the day could be set in the morning due to the warm weather. Unfortunately Jos couldn't get the set up of his car completely right in the morning and he managed a best time of 1:25.2 in the morning. Giancarlo Fisichella had a best time of 1:24.7 in the morning session.

In the afternoon Jos could get the set up completely to his liking and then managed his day best time of 1:25.1. Fisichella also did his best laps in the afternoon around 1:25.1. The team has further worked on improving the set up of the car. Giancarlo as well as Jos used modified rear suspensions. Fisichella also used a new version of the Mecachrome engine which revved 400 rpm more and delivered a higher power output. Jos could look on a very succesful and trouble free test session in which he was able to show his talent. Tomorrow Jos will do the shake down test of the Monaco Grand Prix cars.
