Today and tomorrow the fanclub spectacle days are staged at the Jos Verstappen kartcenter in Echt, The Netherlands. After the announcement yesterday that Jos will be driving for Stewart-Ford from the French Grand Prix on these days couldn't have been timed better. Today and tomorrow from 12.00 hr. until 20.00 hr. there are all kind of events in and around the kartcentre. The most special event of all was the fact that the Stewart of Jos arrived in the afternoon after the car was sent back to the factory yesterday in a great hurry. The car has been rebadged and sent en route to The Netherlands again.

Ofcourse Jos is present on both days. Around the clock of 13.30 hr. Jos was interviewed and some fans got the chance to ask Jos some questions. Among the things Jos said during the interview was that he could get along very well with Rubens Barrichello and that he things that both drivers will be cooperating in a very good way. During the test session at Magny-Cours both drivers have already had dinner together. Another good thing to hear is that Jos is hired by Stewart for his talent only. This of course does not imply that interested sponsors are not welcome, on the contrary. A condition for signing the contract for Jos was that he would get the same material as Rubens Barrichello during races. The Ford engine is supplying a lot of power according to Jos. On monday Jos will already be travelling to Great Britain again to make more adjustments to the car.
