McLaren tested its Formula 1 twoseater for the first time last week. The tests were performed by Darren Turner, the 1996 Mclaren Autosport BRDC young driver of the year. During this shake down test a dummy was used as a passenger. Designer Gordon Murray expected to have found the right weight balance for the car within a month after which the car is ready to give the first passengers the ride of their life.
