Jos Verstappen has signed the petition to preserve the banked section of the historic race track at Monza. Propositions are being made for the demolition of this famous Monza Banking. The Monza Banking is the original race track at Monza which is no longer in use. This structure has stood, in it's present form, since the 50's but construction of the first circuit started on May 15, 1922. On September 3 of that year the first race was held. The banking was used on four occasions for Formula 1, in 1955, 1956, 1960 and 1961. Read all about it, and maybe sign for yourself, on the Monza Campaign Website.
