Bas Leinders, has received and invitation form the McLaren Junior F3000 Team to join in for the last race in the European Formula 3000 championship at the Nürburgring. Momentarily, Bas is competing in the German Formula 3 championship for Van Amersfoort Racing and is favourite to win the championship. For this race he will take over the wheel of the Fransmen Nicolas Minassian and will be the team-mate of Nick Heidfeld.
