At the warmup for the Grand Prix of Italy at Monza it was dry and sunny and the both McLarens of Coulthard and Hakkinen were more than a second faster than the both Ferrari's of Schumacher and Irvine who were surprisingly seperated by the Tyrrell Ford of Takagi!
Jos Verstappen set a 18th time and was about 0.5 seconds slower than his teammate Rubens Barrichello who made a 15th time
