Despite the disappointing day, Jos remained positive. Eventually, he only completed 14 laps, due to the rain. Jos told us as followed: "It was very difficult today. Last week we tested intensively on this circuit, and we found a good set-up for the car. However, Bridgstone brought a new compound to the circuit which required a completely different set-up". Jos drove as you can read below, only 8 laps during the dry first session because the mechanics were working on the car. You may wonder why Jos remained optimistic, that was due to the fact that he told us, rain was expected the complete day tomorrow, and as we know, Jos feels comfortable in wet conditions on the track.
