Very surprising news came from Benetton today were it was announced that David Richards, after just about one year of service as team director when he took over from Flavio Briatore, has resigned. The reason for his resignation is still unclear but it has to do with the future direction of the team. Rocco Benetton, 29 year old member of the Benetton family, has taken over in the mean time.
