A new Grand Prix in South Africa looks to become more realistic by the day. The FIA has been negotiating for a Grand Prix on the African Continent for some time now. The FIA agreed on planning a test session on the circuit of Kyalami in South Africa to give the circuit the possibility to get ready for a Grand Prix in 2001. Therefor the teams of Williams and McLaren have received approval to test on the circuit next month at Kyalami.
