Intensive testing by all teams

With only two weeks to go in front of the first Grand Prix, almost all teams are busy with testing. At Barcelona, most teams were present. Johnny Herbert crashed his Stewart-Ford after a severe crash at 300 km/hour. Despite the crash, Herbert was fortunately unharmed. Frentzen was surprising fastest during two days of testing. He looks very pleased in the Jordan while he was faster then Damon Hill on both days. Barrichello showed the potential of the Jordan by clocking the second and fourth time in two days. So McLaren was unable to dominate the test, however it remained unclear how much fuel the cars were carrying and which tyres they used, so we have to wait until the first Grand Prix before we really can compare.
