Max awarded the Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini

Max Verstappen has been awarded the Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini 2016, for his remarkable achievements in the 2015 Formula 1-season, the year he made his debut in the pinnacle of motorsports. On July 17th, the Dutchman will be present in Brisighella to receive the prestigious Italian prize.
The Trofeo Lorenzo Bandini is a commemoration of the Italian driver Lorenzo Bandini and is awarded yearly, since 1992, to a person whose talent is acknowledged within the sport or to a team for outstanding achievements in the prior year.
An impressive line-up of previous recipients include seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher (2003), Kimi Raikkonen (2004), Fernando Alonso (2005), Sebastian Vettel (2009), Lewis Hamilton (2010), Nico Rosberg (2011), Daniel Ricciardo (2014) and the Mercedes F1 team (2015). For the year 2016, the name Max Verstappen will soon be added.
