Today Jos tested with the Tyrrell team at the circuit of Magny-Cours in France. Goal of this test was to go over the pneumatic gearbox system. No timed tests were made. Jos tested alone from 10 o'clock in the morning. After about 30 laps the engine blew up (old ED4 type) and the test was cancelled for the rest of the day. The original plan was to test only today but due to the engine problem the test will be continued tomorrow.

Lola Formula One Ltd has been liquidated with debts of more than 6 million pounds. The team withdrew before the Brazilian Grand Prix. Both Lola cars have never raced and will be sold. The employees were made redundant.
