Loads of news from Argentina: This weekend the cars of Jos and Mika will be equipped with an extra wing on both sides for extra downforce. What makes this special is the fact that the wings are mounted near the cockpit, 1 foot of the wing rests on the brim of the cockpit and 1 foot of the wing rests on the side pot. The wing is mounted the heigth of the helmet of the driver in such a way that he can look below the wing.

What we personally appreciate very much is the fact that Jos will be sponsoring us this weekend. Our Internet address will be on the brim of his visor. We would like to thank the Tyrrell team very much for this gesture, they make room for us to the cost of their own site, and are ofcourse very proud that Jos drives around with us on his helmet. Let's hope that Jos will be very visible this weekend.

In the mean time Huub Rothengatter has lived life dangerously. He strained a muscle in his back while golfing and now is known as the hunchback of the Notre Dame. Jos in the mean time has spend a couple of days in a Club Med resort on the island of Itaparica, a 1 hour boat trip from Salvador de Bahia in North Eastern Brazil. Jos likes to express his thanks to Club Med and Varig, Brazilian Airlines.

The weather forecast for Buenos Aires this weekend is a bit variable. For Saturday showers are forecasted with highs of 21 °C. Sunday should be a bit better with some sun and highs of 23 °C.

You van still compete in our prize contest by predicting the results of the Argentine GP. Entries in the competion will be accepted until this Friday morning, 12.00 h. CET.

Williams has prolonged its contract with Rothmans just before the Argentine GP with 1 year until 1998. Villeneuve has also prolonged his contract with Williams until the end of 1998 and sources say that he will earn 10 million dollars.
