Due to illness during the week Jos couldn't test at Silverstone on thursday. But yesterday (friday, june 21) he drove with the Arrows-Hart on Silverstone. He tested the new Bridgestone tyres which was very encouraging just as the test at Suzuka, last week. Due to technical problems with the gearbox the training was stopped during the day and will continue on monday. No official lap-times have been announced but all people involved with the session were very pleased so far. See Test results for UNOFFICIAL test times.

On short notice Jos will start using a new type of ARAI-helmet which helps improve the airflow to the airbox, much like the new helmet of Schumacher.
